F G Alden Ltd Small Works Department is experienced at carrying out a wide range of small to medium sized mechanical services projects.
Our main area of works are special projects where our experienced staff can design a plant room to suit our customers particular requirements, whether on an existing or new installation. Most of our work is carried out in existing buildings.
We prefer to liaise directly with our client as it is most important to us to execute the job to their absolute satisfaction. It is also most important to give advice as to the latest innovations in the industry and the economic and safety aspects of the work.
Our client list includes private clients who own large domestic properties, churches, schools, colleges, shops, university properties. The National Trust and The Royal Household are among our most loyal customers and we are proud to feel that we give all of our customers the same high quality of service and expert advice.
A great deal of our new custom is recommended from previous clients.
Our Small Works Department provide close contact with our customers both from the office and site. This allows us to produce the high quality of work for which we are renowned.
Our department consists of The small works manager, his assistant, a team of engineers and an electrician. |

We use directly employed staff as a matter of course, should the need arise for additional labour we have access to fully qualified engineers from other departments within the company. We have access to qualified and experienced welders and have our own prefabrication workshops.
We do use subcontractors for sections of the works such as controls and control panels, ductwork, thermal insulation and building work. These subcontractors are fully vetted and produce the standards of work which are second to none. |
